About Mrs. Hillery
My journey in education began in 2010 when I accepted a position as a special education paraprofessional in Ogden Kansas. At the time, I had no idea how profoundly this field would shape my life, but it didn't take long to discover a passion for helping students, with diverse learning needs, thrive.
While working as a paraprofessional, I completed my bachelor's degree in psychology with the intention of pursuing a career in art therapy. As my experience in the classroom grew, I realized my true calling was special education. I shifted my path and became a special education teacher, combining my love of creativity with my passion for teaching. During my graduate studies, I focused my research on using art as an instructional tool to support neurodivergent learners. In 2022, I earned my Master of Education in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism and Significant Needs. I finished my program with a lovely presentation about using art in the classroom to engage and motivate students to learn in different ways.
Throughout my career, I have taught students in Colorado, Arizona, California, and Texas. For more than two years, I have worked one-on-one with students, virtually and in their homes, helping them build academic skills, confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning.
Today, I am proud to welcome students into my own learning space through Class and Chaos LLC. Creating this space has absolutely been a dream come true! My mission is to provide individualized tutoring, inclusive enrichment programs, and engaging art classes that meet every learner where they are. I believe learning should be meaningful, creative, and accessible to everyone, and I strive to create a welcoming environment where students feel safe, supported, celebrated, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Whether we're strengthening academic skills, exploring creativity through art, or simply building confidence one step at a time, I'm excited to be part of each student's journey.

Shop Policies
FOOD ALLERGIES -
Please make staff aware of any food allergies as edible reinforcers (fruit snacks, candies, pretzels, etc.) are often used during different sessions.
CAT ON PREMISES -
There will occasionally be support pets in the learning space. Please address any allergy concerns immediately upon beginning services if your child has allergies to cat.
UNSAFE OR AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR -
Students will not engage in aggressive or physical behaviors that could be deemed dangerous to staff or others. If a student engages in dangerous or unsafe behavior there will be a written follow up. After TWO incidents of unsafe behaviors student will be removed from the schedule and you will need to find another provider for services.
We understand some instances of poor behavior will happen naturally in this setting however, EVERYONE coming into this setting needs to feel safe and secure and this includes staff and other learners. Unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.
CANCELLATIONS -
If you need to cancel - you MUST provide 24 hour notice or you will still be charged FULL amount. Three cancellations will result in the loss of services. You will need to find another provider for services.
RESCHEDULE -
If you wish to reschedule, contact me and we can reschedule your session. One reschedule allowed per session. If needing to reschedule a second time - session will be cancelled.
NO SHOW/NO COMMUNICATION -
If you do not attend a scheduled session, and there is not communication about the missed session then you will be immediately removed from the schedule and you will need to find another provider for services.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICES -
As the sole owner and operator of Class and Chaos LLC, I will refuse services when deemed necessary.
